Job Description

An  opportunity has arisen for a Site Support Administrator. You will be responsible for the day to day management of plant and material related transactions and activities working across a number of Projects across the UK, liaising with suppliers and site teams to deliver a managed procurement process for material purchases and plant hire.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with site and management teams and suppliers to determine plant requirements.
  • Generating Plant Reports
  • Distributing weekly labour allocation
  • Managing Site supervisors diaries
  • Point of contact for logging defects and tracking of those defects through to completion
  • Compilation of Health & Safety Files.
  • Placement of plant and material Purchase Orders including PPE
  • Establishment and maintenance of relationships with suppliers to maximise the profitability of the business.
  • Maintaining and ensuring that material and plant orders are expedited in a timely manner.
  • Periodic review of the businesses hired in plant and Labour commitments with management and site ensuring that contract committed costs are accurate and within budget.
  • Processing of plant and material paperwork
  • Carrying out any other reasonable task required by the business.
  • Liaising with purchase ledger to remedy invoice queries

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and have worked in a busy environment. It would be beneficial if you have had previous experience working in the Construction Industry, ideally in a similar role. You will be proactive and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, regularly re-prioritising workloads to meet the needs of the business whilst delivering excellent service with accuracy and attention to detail. It goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills and you will have exceptional IT skills in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary: £18,000.00 to £20,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Construction Administration: 2 years (preferred )

Education/Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Good level of education – GCSE English & Maths or Higher Education qualification 
  • Business/construction Administration Qualification 
  • Full UK Driving Licence
