Job Description

Summary of the Role


Reporting to the Contract / Project Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of a building project. They will also manage and lead other members of the construction team.

The successful candidate will have experience in a client facing role, preparing and presenting reports and will also meet the following criteria:

Essential Criteria:

  • Related Construction qualification HND/HNC/BTEC (exceptions may be made for those candidates with extensive experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years' recent relevant experience planning, directing and coordination of projects on site
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience successfully managing and coordinating teams on a large scale as well as a team of multiple disciplines
  • Proven track record of monitoring sub-contractors
  • Experience in each phase of a construction project
  • Experience in carrying out Health and Safety Assessments/Inspections
  • CSR or CSCS Card
  • SSTS / SMSTS Card
  • Recognised First Aid at Work qualification
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to travel / work away from home

  • Ability to create and maintain good working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and proven trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate workforce at all levels
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team


Desirable Criteria:

  • Project Management qualification
  • CIOB Accreditation
