They are looking for a Senior Engineer with good heavy civil and bulk earthworks experience to join them on a permanent basis for projects that they have in the Watford area. Roles: Checking setting out on all build aspects of the site Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the customer specification Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environmental compliance Support the overall achievement of Perfect Delivery Deliver pre-start briefings Ensure all work is in accordance with the method statement Conduct quality control checks and build records Monitor and record all quantities of materials used Assist Site/Section Engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safely Monitor compliance with method statements and safety dictates specific to these Read and understand engineering drawings Deliver method statement briefings and risk assessments and ensure all operatives have appropriate training for the task Ensure the works are executed to the quality plan Supervising the piling works Supervising the reinforcement of the existing structures of the building Helping with design aspects and supervising the work of setting out engineers Requirements: Degree in civil engineering or related discipline is required Experience working with reinforced concrete works would be advantageous NEC Contract experience 7+ years Civil Engineering experience Cad experience would be advantageous   This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work with one of the leading civil engineering contractors across the UK and Ireland.

They are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Technician with good experience carrying out ground investigations/geotechnical testing to join their team on a permanent basis for a role that they have in the Watford area. Roles: Identification and characterization of site won materials from GI reports Assist in the development and implementation of earthworks quality control plan as per project specification Conducting various field tests on soils, concrete, aggregates in accordance with relevant BS EN standards Supervise and train junior staff in materials testing and borehole/trial pit logging. Prepare laboratory and site daily reports and other office tasks as required Assist Project Engineers in drafting plans for optimum use of site won materials Construction observation and monitoring Testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and/or geosynthetic materials Monitoring of instrumentation. Interaction with Client Representatives, Contractors, and Engineers. Operation of computerized and digital testing equipment. They are looking for an experienced Planner with good civil engineering experience to join their team on a permanent basis for a role that they have which will require a candidate to work between their HQ in Hertfordshire and a large site that they have in Watford. Roles: Provide planning expertise at tender stage and manage all construction planning systems and procedures.  Provide technical guidance or execute schedule development, analysis update and maintenance, monitoring and reporting on a major project or a number of projects in a site office.  Own the Integrated Planning process and facilitates such with project teams, clients and other interested parties, and drives consistency in application of the process, leads group discussions using specific tools and software.  Develop detailed construction plans.  Preparation of construction progress curves from schedule and resource data.  Prepare planning data for construction sub-contractors at tender and maintain to award.  Review/analyse contractor summary and detail schedules.  Prepare initial network of activities for project schedules in consultation with project management and discipline leads.  Maintain critical path networks and computer analysis for schedules to ensure target dates are met.  Resource loading of project schedules, levelling and analysis and production of staffing histograms to support construction.  Carry out any other duties or instructions issued by the Project Manager Requirements: Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying Minimum of 5 years on Site Civil Engineering experience Experience of Primavera 6/Tilos/MS Project Software is essential Good Civil Engineering experience   This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work with one of the leading civil engineering and construction contractors in Ireland and the UK.
